The opportunity
Located in Newborough or Melbourne
Working within a collaborative and cross-functional data team, the Data Engineer plays a key role in the design, development and ongoing maintenance of Latrobe’s modern data platform. You’ll build reliable data pipelines, dimensional models and cloud infrastructure that enable business analytics, operational reporting and predictive insights across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role that spans the full lifecycle of data products, from ingestion through to consumption, and gives you the opportunity to work with modern tooling, including Databricks, Azure and emerging AI assisted engineering practices. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into well designed, well documented data solutions that deliver real value.

Experience with Databricks, regulated industries (such as health or insurance), or data governance practices will be highly regarded but is not essential.
