We’re looking for an Information Security Compliance Analyst to join our Technology Services team and play a key role in strengthening our security assurance and compliance capability. 

Job Description

What you’ll be all in on 

Located in Melbourne 

In this role, you’ll provide independent (Line 2) assurance over our information security control environment, ensuring we meet regulatory, legal and internal obligations—particularly CPS 234. 

You’ll: 

  • Design and deliver a risk-based security controls testing framework 

  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls across people, process and technology 

  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable risk and compliance insights 

  • Identify control gaps and drive meaningful improvements across the organisation 

  • Support CPS 234 obligations, audits, and management reporting 

  • Partner with Technology and Risk teams to embed best practice security assurance 

  • Contribute to uplift initiatives that strengthen our overall security posture

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven experience testing the design and operating effectiveness of security controls within a structured framework 

  • Strong ability to analyse complex technical information and translate it into clear risk and compliance insights 

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across all areas of the business 

What will set you apart 

  • Experience providing CPS 234 assurance in Agile or DevSecOps environments 

  • Experience uplifting or implementing security assurance practices in a medium-sized organisation 

  • Relevant certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP (or similar)
